Saumya completed her postgraduate training in Periodontology and Oral Implantology from India in 2008 with honours and completed her MFDS RCPS (Glas.) while still pursuing her postgraduate degree in 2007. She moved to the U.K. in 2010 and has since worked in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) at various centres of repute with over 14 years of surgical experience.
Saumya believes that the patient comes first. Striving for excellence in order to achieve optimum and holistic care for her patients is her primary consideration. The range of treatments she offers includes, apicectomy, frenectomy, crown lengthening, non-surgical and surgical periodontal therapy with or without bone grafts and guided tissue regeneration and mucogingival/aesthetic periodontal surgery.
Saumya has conducted extensive research during her postgraduate training and holds an International Patent on “CoQ10- A novel local drug delivery system”.
Providing quality care with a sound scientific understanding and an emphasis on human relations is how she summarizes her vocation.
